When I was registering for classes last semester, I desperately wanted to take psychology. My advisor told me that I could but anthropology would kill two birds with one stone as far as requirements. I decided to take anthropology and I have had no regrets so far. What I’ve learned so far is to be more accepting of different cultures even if they do things that I don’t agree with. It has forced me to look at my own culture and question things that I do because often times we do things just because everybody else is doing them and not because it is the smartest or right thing to do.
